munster are in big trouble this weekend !! they are playing the saints on saturday in thomand park, if paul o’connell isnt fit i think the saints will go marching on. After watching them play against leinster on friday night I thought leinster were by far the better team even with out bod, munster are getting old and they dont seem to be bringing many younger players through especially in the pack. Leinster had more line breaks in the game and were dominant in the loose, the only thing keeping munster in the game was rog’s goal kicking,even though leinster had two men in the bin on the night munster couldnt make it count. I have say leinster’s defence is awesome and clermont will find it very tough to get a try on friday nights Heineken cup quarter-final.
Jonny Sexton had a mixed game and he is making me very nervous sometimes with his kicking which can be very erratic, he got some serious stick from the munster crowd who cant understand why or how sexton was Ireland,s no.10 in the six nations. The try rob kearney got was very lucky but as i said earlier on lienster made all the breaks in the game, sexton missed an easy kick before the try but then kicked a great conversion. Munster huffed and puffed but couldn’t for the life of them get a penalty to win the match in the last few minutes in the game, leinster held on to win 16-15, very close on the score board but leinster should have had a couple of trys with all their possession.
Finally I predict Leinster to beat Clermont and Northampton to beat munster !!
